I'm not sure if this is a normal 2nd-time mommy feeling but lately I have just wanted to stop time and keep Parker at this age forever. I think having another baby makes me realize how fast time goes by. It feels like just yesterday I was pregnant with him and now here he is almost 2 years old and running around, telling me stories and just as cute as can be. I am also a little worried that I won't get to enjoy as much time with him once our baby gets here and it makes me want to soak in these last few months of just me and him time. Now all of you moms with more than one kid can reassure me that you still have plenty of time with your older kids and I know it won't change too much, it's mostly just my pregnancy hormones making me feel this way I'm sure.
Anyway, my favorite thing Parker does lately is give his sister kisses. Every day he'll run up to me, pull up my shirt exposing my rapidly-growing belly (yeah we really have to watch out in public.. yikes!) and give it a kiss. Or if we ask him where his sister is, he'll do the same thing. We are excited for him to be a big brother because he already seems to love her so much (even though I'm not sure he really understands what's in my belly but who knows?) He is just my cute little boy and I am very thankful for the happiness he brings to our family.

It's crazy to read "Sister". She is going to be so cute...just like her mommy and Parker will love her!
Having more than one child...they are each so different! You will continue to enjoy each and every stage Parker has and you will find plenty of time to love him. And it will make it even better to get to watch them interact! When people ask me how you can love more than one child so much, it makes me sad that they don't realize LOVE MULTIPLIES! You don't have to share one small amount with everyone...as your family grows, so does the love! :)
