On the Move!

It has begun.....

Parker finally got the hang of this crawling business. Right now it is more of an army crawl, he drags that chubby belly of his along the floor but he gets around just as well. We've been coaching him quite a bit because he has been getting up on his hands and knees for a few weeks but then he propels his face into the carpet when he tries to move. Then he discovered this army crawling business today at my mom and dad's and off he went. So we have spent the majority of the night torn because we are SO excited for his big accomplishment and at the same time very stressed about baby-proofing! You think you'll have time but really it was like one minute he couldn't crawl and the next he scooted his way across the room and into a mess of movies and video game controllers and wires. It is so fun to watch him go! He is also able to balance himself while standing without holding on to anything for a few seconds at a time. We are so excited and so proud! Way to go Parker!
